We're back and we're going down down down down, way down in the direct-to-dvd hole with THE DESCENT: PART DEUX. More caves, more crawlers, more throat-ripping! But first, we share out timely coverage of the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, surely the best one yet! Did we see much? No, not really. But what we saw was pure gold, right? Well no, mostly slop. But amongst the slop there are always gems. Every bowl of slop has a gem, as the saying goes.

We're talking FUCK MY SON!, THE FENCE, LEVERS, BLUE HERON, MADDIE'S SECRET, KLEE, and more! And we also find time to talk about a few non-TIFF films such as OCTOBER, JOINT SECURITY AREA, and last year's People's Choice Award winner THE LIFE IF CHUCK.
