Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning (2025) (with Rob McLay)

So it's come to this... the FINAL RECKONING. We've had so many reckonings over this series but this is the last one, we promise. To help us process this reckoning we've enlisted friend of the show, past + future + current guest, and musician extraordinaire Rob McLay. 

There's much to talk about but before we get into the film we also discuss some other movies we've been watching lately: THE SWIMMER, BAD SHABBOS, SCARFACE, and two less-than classic Tom Cruise vehicles KNIGHT AND DAY and THE MUMMY.

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - THE FINAL RECKONING is such a strange film; an awkward, unwieldy, exposition beast that also has two of the greatest action set pieces in the series (and cinema) history. We're all still processing the silliness so in many ways this podcast episode is more our own attempt at clarity than it is a review for you the listener. All the same, I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
